CPSP Continues to Move with Hope and Unity

Dear CPSP Community,

We’re writing to share the spirit of hope and momentum following a very productive Governing Council meeting on July 16, 2025. The energy in the room was palpable—not only because of the important work ahead, but because so many were gathered virtually with renewed vigor for our organization. Ten past presidents attended, a testament to the enduring legacy and strength of our covenantal community.

We are moving forward with clarity and excitement, grounded in the values that have always defined CPSP: collegiality, integrity, and spiritual care. In the midst of transition, we want to reassure everyone of what remains steadfast:

  • Your certification is in good standing

  • Your accreditation is in good standing

  • Your chapters are in good standing

We are, and have always been, a community that midwifes one another—through challenge, through change, and through the sacred work of healing. That covenant remains unbroken.

We’re also pleased to announce the appointment of four new committee chairs who will help guide CPSP into its next chapter:

  • George Akins, Chair of the Personnel Committee

  • Craig Stevens, Chair of the Communications Committee

  • Jonathan Freeman, Chair of the Certification Committee

  • Matt Real, Chair of the Finance Committee

Each of these leaders brings wisdom, dedication, and a deep commitment to the spirit of CPSP. We are grateful for their willingness to serve.

To support transparency and ease, we’ve introduced a new way to submit dues. Beginning this month, dues may be mailed directly to our new CPSP PO Box:

Attn: Noel Gray, CPSP Treasurer
P.O. Box 12473
Oklahoma City, OK 73157

This change ensures secure and accountable processing of contributions. Electronic payment options will also still be available.

Finally, we want to hear from you. If your chapter is interested in hosting a visit from CPSP officers, please reach out to your chapter convener to schedule a time. We would be honored to join you—both to listen to your voices and concerns, and to share the vision for CPSP’s future in person.

Thank you for your continued trust, presence, and care. We are walking forward together.

Rachel Greiner, President

Garrett Bugg, Vice President

Noel Gray, Treasurer
