CPSP LIFE: An Invitation to Shared Listening and Reflection
CPSP Podcast Forum (May 6)
Dear CPSP Colleagues,
At our recent CPSP Plenary, we engaged anew with the CPSP Podcast and the psychodynamic foundations that ground our work as clinicians. That conversation reminded us that these roots do more than inform our theory—they shape how we listen, how we accompany others, and how we engage certification, accreditation, and chapter life with depth and integrity.
Many shared that the podcast served both as a meaningful reminder of why CPSP exists and as a generative, accessible way to introduce CPSP to trainees, new chapter members, and those discerning a deeper relationship with our community.
With this in mind, we invite you to an open forum for shared listening and reflection. We will listen to the podcast together and then hold space for conversation—attending to what resonates, what challenges us, and what continues to call us toward presence in our shared work.

We hope you will join us for this time of shared reflection, dialogue, and connection as colleagues shaped by a common commitment to deep listening and pastoral care. All participants will receive a digital copy of the podcast.
The May 6 gathering marks the first installment of CPSP LIFE, hosted by Jonathan Freeman and Perry Miller. CPSP LIFE is an ongoing opportunity for CPSP chapters, trainees, and conveners to engage together around the content of the podcast.
CPSP LIFE is offered every Wednesday at 4:00 PM EDT:
First Wednesdays: Open forums, available to all
Remaining Wednesdays: Reserved for chapters, with focused engagement around themes related to CPSP training, certification, and chapter life
Chapters may register for CPSP LIFE through the link available on the CPSP website.
Sincerely,
CPSP Leadership Team
